Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts invites students currently in Grade 3-7 who are interested in attending the school to an information session on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

The session will introduce parents/caregivers and students to the school and prepare them for the Lester B. Pearson Selection Workshop, to be held in March 2023. At the two-day workshop, students participate in Music, Visual Arts, Dance and Drama while being observed by teachers and experts in each field.

Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts offers an enriched Arts program in addition to a complete academic curriculum. All students who attend Pearson participate in classes that are focused on Music, Visual Art, Dance and Drama. The program is intended to develop a lifelong appreciation of the Arts.

Get a head start on Grade 9 with two days of tips, hints and skills!

High School Here I Come! is a non-credit summer program for Grade 8 students who are starting at a TVDSB high school in September. Students will be provided with a variety of learning skills and strategies designed to help them with their transition to secondary school.

Topics that will be discussed:

• The reality of High School
• Academic expectations and study skills
• Getting and staying organized
• Getting involved in the school community
• Literacy and Numeracy learning skills

Our Kindergarten educator teams are each comprised of a Teacher and Early Childhood Educator who provide many play-based learning experiences to meet each child's needs and interests.
